Finding your fastest lap between sessions

The Club100 use case — get to your fastest lap of a session and watch it back before the next run is called.

Last updated 2026-04-10

The scenario

You've just finished a heat. You've got maybe fifteen minutes before your next session is called. You want to watch your fastest lap — not the whole heat, not the average lap, the fastest one — and figure out where you left time.

RaceDash is built exactly for this.

Step by step

  1. Import the session. Drop your footage into the project and connect your timing source. RaceDash processes it in the background while you grab water.
  2. Jump to the fastest lap. In the editor timeline, your fastest lap is highlighted in accent blue. Click the lap marker or press B to jump straight to the first frame.
  3. Scrub and learn. Use the timeline scrubber or the arrow keys to step through the lap. The timing overlay on the right shows lap time, position and sector as you go.
  4. Export the lap only. If you want to share it or keep it for review, open Render Assets and tick "Fastest lap only". RaceDash will export just that lap with the overlay baked in. Thirty seconds on a local render, less if you're on cloud.
