Terms of Service
Placeholder. This document is a structural scaffold. Replace the content below with legally-reviewed copy before launch.
1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of the RaceDash desktop application, the RaceDash cloud services, and the RaceDash website at racedash.io (together, the Service). By using the Service you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
You need an account to use RaceDash. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. If you think your account has been compromised, let us know at security@racedash.io.
3. Subscription and billing
RaceDash is sold as an annual subscription. Prices are shown in GBP on our pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
- Cancel any time from your account page — you'll keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- We don't offer refunds for unused time on an active subscription.
- Cloud render credits are sold separately and are non-refundable once consumed.
4. Licence
When you subscribe, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the RaceDash desktop app on your own machines. You may not:
- Sublicence, resell or redistribute the software
- Reverse-engineer the software or the cloud services
- Use the service to process content you don't have the rights to
5. Your content
You keep all rights to the footage, timing data and other content you bring into RaceDash. We need a limited licence to process that content on your behalf (e.g. to render it into video), but we never claim ownership.
6. Availability
We aim for high availability but we don't promise 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance, incidents and cloud provider outages can affect the service. Where an outage is within our control, we'll communicate it via status.racedash.io.
7. Limitation of liability
RaceDash is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any indirect, consequential or incidental damages arising from your use of the service.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be emailed to account holders.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
